English yoga lesson: Nadi Shodanha (alternate nostril breathing)

In Friday's online English Yoga lesson, we all practiced nadi shodanha breathing.

This practice helps one balance breathing through the left side of the nose and the right and imagine the center line running through the body. This sometimes helps people relieve stress and find more balance and ease in their lives.

In this video, you can practice some of the following phrases:

Sit in a comfortable seated position. = 気楽な姿勢で座ってください。

thumb = 親指

index finger = 人差し指

middle finger = 真ん中指

ring finger = 薬指(指輪をつける指)

pinky finger = 小指

alternate = 交互
